Dr. Marvin Smith Vegetable Soup Grandma's
This video saw over 200 hits in just a few hours of its posting. Maybe the cold weather in the Northeast motivated folks to check out VEGETABLE SOUP- Grandma's, a song performed by Dr. Marvin Smith and Steve Habib.
John Coltrane - Live at Antibes - July 27, 1965
This Coltrane video only had 153 hits the day I put Dr, Marvin Smith's "Vegetable Soup- Grandma's" up and Marvin's you tube video saw over 200 hits in the first few hours.
The Spirit is moving and today, January 4th,2012 is a mystical day. I knew something special was going down. Tomorrow, my mother turns 87, born January 5,1925. Interesting stuff.
Dr. Marvin Smith Vegetable Soup Grandma's
This was a beautiful session and one of the most spiritual tracks during The Melting Pot Drum Group Project. It was recorded in 2000 and 2001. Some was recorded at Tedesco Studios and some was recorded at Paul Hirsch's Studios...Roses.
Many different drummers were apart of this project in addition to Dr. Marvin Smith and Steve Habib, Koko Jones was involved and a long list of others to be published at another time as we compile the names for posting additional videos of the Melting Pot Drum Group Project.
More notes on this soon.
Love Always and Always Love,
HABIB
