Series # 119 Master Sessions Of Dr. Marvin Smith with Dr. Ron Petrides and Robert Kopec

The Series # 119 opens up with such a great warmth as Dr. Ron Petrides plays so beautifully on this slow to medium groove. You can hear birds flying high over the ocean and gentle wind blowing across the waves as DR. MARVIN SMITH'S light touch on the cymbals represents THE WIND and also THE FIRE underneath it all.IT IS GREAT TO HEAR MARVIN SMITH'S TIGHT SOLO WORK THROUGHOUT ALL FOUR TUNES PLAYED, ESPECIALLY LISTENING TO HIS SPECIAL SOUND THAT ONLY HE CAN GET ON A DRUM. MARVIN'S UNIQUE PLAYING HAS SO MUCH COLOR AND THAT "TOUCH" THAT I KEEP TALKING ABOUT IS SPECIAL BECAUSE I'VE NEVER HEARD A DRUMMER ACHIEVE SUCH POWER AND YET HE IS TRULY PLAYING A LOT LIGHTER THAN YOU THINK HE IS. YOU CAN SEE IT IN HIS AURA EVERYTIME. MASTER Robert Kopec adds so much DEPTH to the INTENSIVE DANCE THAT ALL THREE START DOING and it continues to move like this through all parts of this series. I wasn't feeling very well prior to hearing this session but after the almost 45 minutes of pleasure I started to respond to all THE DANCING and CONVERSATION THAT WAS GOING ON. Robert KOPEC'S SOLOS reached far into my heart and I was able to better understand myself a little more as I "LET MYSELF GO" and then Marvin TRADED WITH ROBERT and Marvin FIRED OFF BEAUTIFUL, COLORFUL STATEMENTS OF EXPRESSION MAKING DRUM SOUNDS BECOME ACTUAL MRLODIES OF LOVE. I was so moved forward into a FLOATING ZONE OF BETTER UNDERSTANDING ABOUT MUSICAL VOICE EXCHANGES BETWEEN MUSICIANS. I think that anyone allowing themselves to BE FREE of their own egos can actually better understand music and become the music. I see it here in Series 119 as I do in all of Dr. Marvin Smith's 1200+ videos. It seems that there's a special LOVE everytime I hear Marvin Smith's MUSICAL SESSIONS and I want all people to know how special this music is because it is MEDICINE FOR ME and IT CAN BE FOR ALL OF YOU IF YOU WANT IT TO REACH INTO YOU AND BECOME A SOUND PILL FOR WHAT MIGHT BE BOTHERING YOU. The last song picks the pace up and you hear Dr. Marvin Trading with Ron and Robert as he FIRES OFF CRISP TONES OF WARMTH, AND HIS SOLO TAKES YOU BACK TO THE MELODY LINE EVERY TIME. If I could get across to you, the listener that it is important to pay close attention to this LIVING LEGEND, DR. MARVIN SMITH WHILE HE IS ON EARTH AND AVAILABLE TO ALL OF US, THAN I AM SATISFIED BEYOND EVERYTHING. I WILL CONTINUE TO TELL THE DR.
